The programme for Sleepover Miami kicks off with a relaxed lunch and informal welcome at The Hall, after which guests will be transported for hosted tours of 1 Hotel South Beach, Confidante (formerly Thompson), and the Miami Edition.
Our group then stops at Freehand for cocktails, before heading back to The Hall for a couple of hours downtime to check-in and change.
A short walk will then take us to Nautilus for dinner at Driftwood Room, the restaurant where celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli marries Mediterranean cuisine with fresh Floridian ingredients.
Optional design tours of Freehand, The Hall and Nautilus will be available during this period.
The following day commences with a breakfast panel discussion at Faena Theatre looking at the evolution of Miami’s hotel scene past, present and future.
Next up, tours of the districts which are redefining modern Miami will give insight into the changing face of the city:
- Design District Hosted by DACRA, with lunch at Mandolin Aegean Bistro
- Wynwood Walls Hosted by Goldman Properties, with lunch at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar
- Brickell City Center Hosted by Swire Hotels, with lunch at EAST
Our programme closes with rooftop drinks and a final networking opportunity at EAST, the newly opened lifestyle hotel which anchors Swire Properties’ Brickell City Centre development.
Transport will be provided back to The Hall, where guests have an extra night’s accommodation included in their attendance package, allowing them to schedule private dinners, meetings and further exploration of the city outside our core programme.
Optional transport is also available to the opening reception for Maison&Objet Americas at Ironside, Miami’s new creative quarter of showrooms, studios and co-working spaces.
